Black Friday & Cyber Monday Cast Iron & Dutch Oven Deals 2026

What historically goes on sale in cast iron and what rarely does, whether to buy now or wait for November for each kind of pan, and our current top picks with today's live price. Deals will be posted here when they go live.

By Stephen V.Last updated How we pick

This page does two jobs. Right now, in September, it tells you what has actually happened to cast iron prices in past Novembers — which pans moved, by how much, on what date, with the source — so you can decide whether to buy today or wait. In November it becomes the place we post the deals that are genuinely live, each one checked against the live price feed that runs every day on this site.

What it will never do is invent a discount. Every percentage below is a dated record from a named source, quoted as history. We do not know what any pan will cost on Black Friday 2026, and neither does anyone else writing about it in September. Where we have no dated record for a class of product, we say so rather than filling the gap.

One more thing worth knowing before the history: “percent off” on cast iron is measured against a list price, and on the French enameled pots the list price is high enough that a large-looking cut can land close to the price the same pot sells for on an ordinary Tuesday. The buttons on this page show the retailer’s reported list price and percent-off when there is one, so you can see that gap today, not just in November.

How this is funded: we earn a commission if you buy through our links, at no extra cost to you. It never changes which pan we recommend, and we’ll happily tell you to keep the skillet you already own. Full disclosure.

The deal watch list: our top picks, with today’s price

The #1 pick from each of our main roundups, in the order Black Friday buyers ask about them. The price is live and dated; when the retailer reports a discount against list, it shows under the button. Tap through for why each one is our pick — the reasoning does not change because it is November.

What historically goes on sale in cast iron — and what rarely does

Cast iron is not one market. It is four or five, and they behave differently in November. Here is the dated record for each, from the sources listed at the bottom of the page.

French enameled dutch ovens (Le Creuset, Staub): the class where November has mattered

The line repeated in almost every write-up is that Le Creuset rarely goes on sale — and the same write-ups then list the sales. The dated record for Black Friday 2025, updated November 28, 2025: the Signature 5.5-quart round dutch oven — the pot at the top of our enameled roundup— was recorded at $295.29 against a $434.95 list on Amazon (32% off) and $289.95 against $460 at Macy’s (37% off), with Le Creuset direct, Williams Sonoma and Amazon discounting between 20% and 44% across the range that week. For Staub, the record we could verify is a 4-quart round cocotte on Amazon on December 8, 2025, at $149.95 with a clip coupon taking it to $127.49 against a stated $370 list — in three specific colors, after Cyber Monday, not across the line. In an earlier record (November 2023) a Food52 x Staub 4-quart cocotte was listed at $99 against $299.

The pattern those dates describe: the French pots do get cut in November, the cuts are measured against high list prices, and Staub’s deepest ones have landed on particular sizes and colorways rather than on the whole range. Le Creuset’s own biggest event, the Factory to Table sale, is not an online alternative: its own page describes it as an in-person, ticketed event that “cannot be shopped online or by phone,” next held October 1–4, 2026 in Milwaukee.

Boutique American iron (Field, Stargazer, Smithey, Lancaster, FINEX): shallow and rare

The dated record for Cyber Monday 2025 (November 30, 2025): the Field Company No. 8 at $132 against $165 on Amazon — 20% off — with the No. 10 also at 20%. The same report noted that the price “matches the rare low price” seen on Prime Day that summer and that the No. 10 had been discounted that low only twice before. Two years earlier (November 2023), selling direct, Smithey’s No. 12 combo set was 8% off and Field’s No. 8 with lid 12% off.

The pattern: the machined American pans move by 10–20% when they move at all, and 20% has historically been the floor, not the start. We have no dated Black Friday record for Stargazer, Lancaster or FINEX and do not invent one; their reviews on this site carry a live price that updates daily.

Lodge classic skillets and dutch ovens: cheap already, and discounted in small steps all year

Lodge runs a rolling sale collection on its own site. On the day this page was written — September 14, 2026, a date with no holiday anywhere near it — that page listed roughly forty items marked down between about 10% and 34%: the 5-quart Double Dutch Oven at $59.90 from $69.95, the Pro-Grid griddle at $49.90 from $59.95, the camp dutch oven from $79.90 against $94.95, the Essential Enamel pots 10–17% off. That is the pattern: Lodge discounts year-round in modest steps rather than saving one deep cut for November, and the classic skillet at the top of our skillet roundup starts so low that there is little room to move.

Lodge specialty pieces (griddles, bakeware, camp ovens, sets): the deepest recorded cuts

This is where the big percentages in cast iron have historically lived. The November 2023 Cyber Monday record lists Lodge griddles on Amazon at 50% and 55% off ($30 from $60; $15 from $33) and a Lodge baking pan at 17% off. A July 2019 Prime Day record lists Lodge’s four-piece set at $70 from $92, 25% off. And Lodge’s own sale page today carries the camp oven, the Pro-Grid griddle and the baking sets among its markdowns. The pattern: if you are buying a Lodge griddle, a boxed set or a camp oven and can wait, these are the pieces with the deepest recorded cuts.

Budget enamel (Tramontina, Amazon Basics, Cuisinart) and accessories: no dated record

We could not verify a dated Black Friday record for the budget enameled pots or for accessories, and we are not going to type a number we cannot source. What we can say is what the live feed shows: the buttons for these pots on this site frequently carry a retailer-reported list-price strike-through on ordinary days, which suggests the “deal” is already the price. Check the button.

Buy now or wait for November? By product class

This is guidance from the record above, not a prediction. If a sentence here turns out wrong in November, the deals box at the top of the page will say what actually happened.

You are buyingOur guidanceWhy
A first cast iron skillet (the classic Lodge)Buy nowIt is the cheapest pan we recommend; the absolute dollars at stake in waiting are small, and Lodge’s cuts are modest year-round.
A Le Creuset or Staub dutch oven at full listWait if you canThe one class with a dated record of 30%+ November cuts. If the button already shows a list price crossed out, compare today’s figure to the 2025 record above before deciding.
A machined American skillet (Field, Stargazer, Smithey)Buy when you need itRecorded cuts are 8–20% and rare. If 20% appears at any point in the year, that has historically been the floor.
A Lodge griddle, boxed set or camp ovenWait if you are flexibleThe pieces with the deepest recorded cuts (50%+ on griddles in the 2023 record). Also the pieces most often on Lodge’s own sale page in any month.
Lodge enameled or budget enameled (Tramontina, Amazon Basics)Buy nowAlready a quarter of the French price; Lodge’s enamel shows 10–17% on its own sale page today and we have no dated record of deeper November cuts.
A gift with a December deadlineOrder by early DecemberAmazon’s 2025 event ran November 20 to December 1; cast iron is heavy and ships slowly. A pan that arrives December 27 is not a Christmas gift.

The 2026 calendar, as far as it is actually known

  • Black Friday 2026 is November 27; Cyber Monday is November 30. Those are calendar facts, not retailer announcements.
  • Amazon’s 2026 dates have not been announced as of this page’s last update. Its 2025 event, per Amazon’s own announcement, ran from November 20 at 12:01 am PST through Cyber Monday, December 1 — twelve days, not one.
  • An October Amazon event is usual but unconfirmed for 2026. Prime Big Deal Days ran October 7–8 in 2025; as of September 14, 2026, Amazon had not confirmed a 2026 date. If one runs, it is historically where the Field No. 8 hit the same low it later matched on Cyber Monday.
  • Le Creuset Factory to Table: October 1–4, 2026, Milwaukee, in person only. Ticketed; not shoppable online, per Le Creuset’s own page.

How this page gets updated

When cast iron deals go live in November, they will appear in the status box at the top of this page, each with the date it was verified against the live price feed. Nothing goes in that box because a press release says a sale exists; it goes in when the button on this site shows the price. The watch list above updates every day on its own, because every price on it comes from the same feed that powers the rest of the site — if the feed stops, the prices disappear rather than go stale, which is how we handle prices everywhere.

If you are buying a gift rather than a pan for yourself, the gift guide and its lists by budget — under $50, under $150, heirloom — and by person — bread bakers, campers, weddings — are the pages to read first. Every pick on them carries the same live price as here.

Frequently asked questions

When is Black Friday 2026?

November 27, 2026, with Cyber Monday on November 30. Amazon's 2025 Black Friday Week ran from November 20 through December 1, twelve days rather than one; its 2026 dates had not been announced when this page was last updated.

Does Le Creuset go on sale for Black Friday?

It has. The dated record for Black Friday 2025 shows the Signature 5.5-quart round dutch oven at $295.29 against a $434.95 list on Amazon and $289.95 against $460 at Macy's, with the brand's own site and other retailers cutting 20 to 44% across the range that week. That is history, not a forecast for 2026. Note that the cuts are measured against a high list price.

Does Lodge cast iron go on sale for Black Friday?

Lodge discounts in modest steps all year: on an ordinary September day its own sale page listed roughly forty items 10 to 34% off. The deepest recorded cuts have been on specialty pieces rather than the classic skillet: Lodge griddles at 50 to 55% off on Amazon in the November 2023 record, and a four-piece set at 25% off on a past Prime Day.

Should I wait for Black Friday to buy a cast iron skillet?

Not for a classic Lodge: it is already the cheapest pan we recommend and the dollars at stake are small. Wait if you are buying a French enameled pot at full list, or a Lodge griddle, set or camp oven and can be flexible; those are the classes with the deepest dated cuts.

Do Field, Stargazer or Smithey skillets go on sale?

Rarely and shallowly. The Cyber Monday 2025 record shows the Field No. 8 at 20% off on Amazon, described as matching a rare Prime Day low, and the 2023 record shows Smithey at 8% and Field at 12% selling direct. We have no dated record for Stargazer, Lancaster or FINEX and do not invent one.

Are the deals on this page real?

Every price on this page comes from the same daily retailer feed that powers the whole site and carries the date it was pulled; a discount shows only when the retailer reports one. No deal is posted from a press release. When Black Friday deals go live, they will be listed in the status box at the top with the date each was verified.
