Privacy policy
What we collect, why, and what we don't. Last updated July 20, 2026.
This policy explains how Skillet & Stove (Type 5 Marketing LLC) handles information when you visit skilletandstove.com. The short version: we run a content site, not a data business. We don’t sell your information, and we collect as little as possible.
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand which pages are read and how visitors find the site. It collects standard, largely aggregated data — pages viewed, approximate location, device and browser type, and how you arrived. We use this only to improve the site’s content and are not able to identify you personally from it. Google processes this data under its own privacy terms.
The contact form
If you use our contact form, we receive the name, email address and message you submit, so we can reply. We use that information only to respond to you and don’t add you to any marketing list. The form includes basic spam protections (a hidden field and timing and rate checks) that don’t track you across sites.
Affiliate links and cookies
When you click an affiliate link (for example to Amazon), the retailer may set a cookie so it can credit us if you make a purchase. That cookie is set and controlled by the retailer under its own privacy policy, not by us, and it doesn’t give us access to your account or payment details. See our affiliate disclosure for how this funds the site.
What we don’t do
- We don’t sell or rent your personal information.
- We don’t run a newsletter or store account passwords.
- We don’t collect payment information — all purchases happen on the retailer’s own site.
Your choices
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings, and use browser or extension controls to limit analytics. To ask what contact-form information we hold about you, or to have it deleted, email info@skilletandstove.com.
Changes
